Based in Alberta and in operation since 2013, registered charity Can Praxis is an equine-assisted therapy provider for the Veteran and first responder communities in Canada. Founded by a Veteran, Can Praxis addresses the wide-ranging impacts of Operational Stress Injuries on the mental health of Veterans, first responders, and their families. Coordinating with a team of donors, sponsors, and professional facilitators, Can Praxis delivers and funds cost-effective, therapeutic programs and opportunities that greatly benefit the well-being of the Canadian Veterans community.
